Here is a cool way to earn some money for hair expenses and also get to share your favorite hair style with thousands of people.
The following contest is sponsored by Janet Collection, a famous hair brand and it is aimed for the end consumers who really enjoy Janet Collection hair products.

Janet Collection Ambassador Contest: May 2008


In a nutshell, you show off your hairstyle created with a Janet Collection hair, get enough people to vote you to the top, and we make you our Ambassador.

On top of that we give you a gift certificate of $100 redeemable at our authorized reseller, Best Hair World. You do the same in June, you win again. We don’t pick the winners, your friends and family do. 2nd and 3rd prizes are also available.

Now on to the details:

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

1) Create a 60 second video showing off your latest hairstyle. It must be with any of Janet Collection’s line of items.

2) You must give the following information on the video:a) Your name. (b) Your city. (c) The Janet Collection item you’ve used. (d) The name of your stylist and why you like Janet Collection hair.

3) You must be 18 years or older to participate.

4) Create your own YouTube account unless you have one already. Upload video and title it “JCA - Your Name, Month, Year” Therefore, if I’m Claudette my video title will read “JCA - Claudette May 2008″

5) Tag your video like this “jcamay08″. Tags are optional but it will help people who’d like to vote for you find you easily.

6) Send us an email via YouTube when you upload and add the video as a response to our announcement video on YouTube.

7) Tell all your friends to vote for you on your YouTube page and leave comments on why you should win.

PRIZES:

1st place: $100 gift certificate.

2nd place: $75 gift certificate

3rd place: $25 gift certificate.

All gift certificates can only be redeemed at Best Hair World, Janet Collection’s authorized reseller.

Winning video and person will be featured on Best Hair World, Janet Collection Blog, Janet Collection on MySpace, and Janet Collection website.

WHEN:

Submit videos between May 6, 08 and May 28, 08. Submission ends at 12pm on May 28th.

REMEMBER:

The winning video will be picked by May 29th based on the highest number of votes your YouTube video gets by May 28th at 12:01 pm.
